HSIAO, Yuchi
Yuchi Hsiao graduated from the Graduate Institute of New Media Art at Taipei National University of the Arts and currently works with video, textile, and installation. Her practice explores the relationship between the self and its surroundings, observing the surface traces of everyday life and attending to quiet, often overlooked moments within the ordinary. Her work has been exhibited at the Taipei Fine Arts Museum, and she has participated in the 10th Nakanojo Biennale in Japan (2025), the Pier-2 Artist Residency (2025), and the residency program at Hangar.org in Barcelona, Spain (2023).
Her practice begins with the “room” as the primary site of inquiry, serving as an intimate space from which reflections on inner states and private experiences unfold. She is interested in modes of thinking, the flow of consciousness, and behavioral responses, seeking to translate these internal processes into perceptible forms. Her works establish delicate correspondences between spatial environments and everyday life, gradually unfolding alongside the movement of thought.

蕭禹琦畢業於國立台北藝術大學新媒體藝術研究所，現從事錄像、編織與裝置創作。其創作關注自身與周遭環境之間的關係，透過觀察人類生活表層的痕跡，關注於日常之中隱微而不尋常的片刻。作品曾於台北市立美術館展出，並參與日本第十屆中之条雙年展（2025）、駁二藝術家駐村（2025），以及西班牙巴塞隆納昂格藝術中心駐村（2023）。
其創作多以日常停留最久的「房間」為起點，延伸對內在感受與私密經驗的探尋。關注人的思考狀態、意識流動與行為反射，並嘗試將這些內在運作轉化為可被感知的形式，使作品在空間中與日常環境形成細膩的對應關係，隨著思緒的推移緩慢展開。
